Barnet Local Elections 2026

Following last Thursday’s incredible results – with Reform UK gaining a Member of Parliament in Runcorn, two Mayors, and 677 new Councillors (adding to the 100+ already serving across the country) – the momentum is undeniable.

This is your Call to Arms.

As we look ahead to the Barnet Council elections in 2026, we need local champions to carry this wave of change into every corner of our borough.

Standing for council is more achievable than you might think:

• The minimum attendance requirement is two meetings a year.
• This is your chance to help promote the Reform message
• The role comes with an allowance
• We need candidates to ensure all spots are filled –  to help ensure our voters do not lose the opportunity of voting for us in all wards.

This is a unique chance to help turn Barnet turquoise, and show the country that Reform is here to stay.
